REGISTRATION AND AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR PRIVATE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
REQUIREMENTS FOR PRIVATE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (REGISTRATION AND AUTHORIZATION)
- Application and Proof of Registration, Authorization, Incorporation of new subjects or courses, and/or Renewal of the Institution’s Operating Authorization.
- Copy of the applicant’s Identity Card; if the applicant is a naturalized citizen, a copy of the Official Gazette containing the Naturalization Act.
- Copy of the Institution’s Unique Fiscal Information Registry (RIF).
- Certified copy of the Institution’s Articles of Incorporation/Constitutive Document.
- Copy of the minutes of the latest Shareholders’ or Associates’ Assembly, duly registered, in the case of a legal entity.
- Organizational structure chart of the Institution.
- Copy of the Industry, Patent, and Commerce Registry of the property for educational use.
- Copy of the employer or company registration and solvency certificate, issued by the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS).
- Copy of the Declarative Personal Accident Policy or Medical Care Service.
- Copy of the fire prevention compliance certificate issued by the Fire Department.
- Copy of the sanitary permit issued by the Ministry of People’s Power for Health (MPPS).
- Copy of the Income Tax Solvency Certificate (ISLR).
- Copy of the solvency certificate from the National Institute of Socialist Training and Education (INCES).
- The syllabi, curricula, and schedules of the nautical subjects or courses to be taught, along with their respective instructor and participant manuals.
- Inventory and description of resources, printed and non-printed didactic materials for learning in nautical education.
- List of management staff, teaching staff, and instructors, with their current curriculum vitae and the corresponding attached supporting documents.
- Copies of IMO Instructor Certificates.
- Copy of the authorization certificate for the use of facilities required for practical training corresponding to the programs that demand it.
- Implemented Quality Management System (Manual of Policies and Procedures of the Institution).
- Payment to the Checking Account (Cta. Cte.) of Banco Banesco, under the name of INEA, 0134-1099-2200-0100-0780, RIF G-20002141-1, in accordance with the amounts indicated in the SEAFARERS’ PROCEDURE PAYMENT TABLE (TABLA DE PAGO DE TRÁMITES DE GENTE DE MAR, located next to the TYPE OF REQUEST). This Table will be updated to the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment made must correspond with the date of the request and has a validity of three months once it is carried out”. According to the following procedures: €417 for the Initial Supervision of Registration and Operating Authorization (Article 62, Item 1); and €833 for the Issuance of the Operating Authorization (Article 62, Item 4).
- The INEA payment liquidation form will be uploaded for each user to their SEAFARER FILE, under the OBSERVATIONS tab, by the staff of the Seafarers Management Department once their payment has been confirmed.
Note: Applications before INEA shall be carried out without the need to submit physical folders or compact discs. All documents must be valid, legible, digitized in PDF format, and the user must send them to the email address: educacionnautica@inea.gob.ve.
