SEAFARER’S IDENTITY DOCUMENT FOR CERTIFICATE HOLDERS (RENEWAL-CONTINUATION)
| 1. | Identity Card. |
| 2. | Updated, high-resolution and sharp photograph, blue background (deck/navigation) or red background (engineering), Uniform No. 2 with or without a combination cap/kepi (shoulder boards with stripes visible according to hierarchical rank) or formal suit; for Fishing Officers, blue background (deck/navigation) or red background (engineering) formal suit, (both shoulders and face visible, no glasses, neutral facial expression, no groomed patterns/shapes in the beard for men, and no low-cut necklines for women, no photomontages). This must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section. |
| 3. | Certificate Credential (both sides) or Merchant Marine Certificate. This must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the CERTIFICATES tab. |
| 4. | Seafarer’s Identity Document (all pages used). |
| 5. | Payment for document issuance fees, to the Banco de Venezuela Checking Account, in the name of INEA, 0102-0762-25-0000003188, RIF G-20002141-1, in accordance with the amounts indicated in the SEAFARERS PROCEDURE PAYMENT SCHEDULE pursuant to Article 60, Item 3 (located next to the APPLICATION TYPE). This Schedule is updated at the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment made must correspond to the date of the application and has a three-month validity period once processed”. . |
| 6. | The INEA payment liquidation form will be uploaded to each user’s SEAFARER’S FILE, under the OBSERVATIONS tab, by the Seafarer Management personnel once the payment has been confirmed. |
Note: All documents must be valid, legible, digitized in PDF format, and attached to the SINEA.
Note: To collect the Seafarer Book at the Port Captaincies, users must print Form J and present it at the Port Captaincy where they submitted their application, attaching 2 passport-sized photographs with the same characteristics as those described in the requirements.
