    RENEWAL OF THE RECOGNITION OF THE TITLE OF SECOND ENGINEER JOURNEYMAN

    ENDORSEMENT OF RECOGNITION OF THE TITLE OF SECOND ENGINEER OFFICER (RENEWAL)

    1. Identity Card.
    2. Passport (Optional).
    3. High-resolution and sharp photograph, red background, in uniform (rank must be visible on both shoulders, updated within the last six months, neutral facial expression, without glasses, without stylized beard grooming for men, without plunging necklines for women, and no photomontages). This must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section.
    4. Expired document (endorsement of Second Engineer Officer Title Recognition, both sides).
    5. Credential (both sides) or Second Mate’s Certificate issued by the Maritime Administration of the applicant’s nationality and duly verifiable by available means. It must be attached in the section SEAFISHER’S EXPEDIENT, in the TITLES tab.
    6. IMO Courses duly approved by a Nautical Educational Institution registered with the Venezuelan Maritime Administration (required and additional, both sides, including registry and folio number). The validity of the requested document depends on the issuance date of said courses. These must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the COURSES tab.
    7. Seafarer Book (all used pages).
    8. Maritime Medical Certificate (physical and mental fitness with vision and hearing specification), in the Maritime Medicine format found on the INEA website (must be performed by a Physician authorized by the INEA or an Internist Physician from the Public Network). Applicants over 40 years of age must present a cardiovascular evaluation report and an electrocardiogram (must be performed by a Cardiologist, Internist, Intensivist, or Emergency Physician).
    9. Payment for document issuance fees, to the Banesco Checking Account, in the name of INEA, 0134-1099-2200-0100-0780, RIF G-20002141-1, in accordance with the amounts indicated in the SEAFARERS PROCEDURE PAYMENT SCHEDULE pursuant to Article 59, Item 12 (located next to the APPLICATION TYPE). This Schedule will be updated at the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment made must correspond to the date of the application and has a three-month validity period once processed”.
    10. The INEA payment settlement form will be uploaded to each user’s “SEAFARER FILE,” under the “REMARKS” tab, by the Seafarer Management personnel once the payment has been confirmed.
