28-02-2025
Regarding the start of the Carnavales 2025 security operation, the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) delivered aquatic culture lectures to students of the Caribbean Maritime University (UMC) based in Güiria, Sucre state, to foster awareness of protection and sustainable development of the sea, rivers, and lakes.
The students, who are pursuing studies in the areas of navigation and machinery, also received an induction on the INEA management philosophy, environmental protection, and first aid, the latter delivered by the Marine Firefighters attached to the regional headquarters.
The conference offered in situ practices on the correct use of the life jacket and the importance that this tool of mariners has for human life at sea.
With these actions that are replicated at all levels of education, the Gran Misión Transporte Venezuela and the INEA, seek to train new men and women who link directly with their environment and make it sustainable, just as ordered by our Constitutional President Nicolás Maduro.
