CIRCULAR N° 011/2025
WHEREAS
The Ministry of People’s Power for Transportation, in the exercise of its competence, through Resolution No. 052 dated December 29, 2024, published in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 43,068 dated February 13, 2025, establishes, regulates and implements the new tariff regime for the services and activities related to the aquatic sector and the land transfer service provided by the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces, as well as those natural or legal persons duly authorized to provide services at the vessel-port interface,
WHEREAS
Resolution No. 052, establishes the express repeal of Resolution No. 033 dated May 02, 2018, published in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 41,389 dated May 03, 2018 and Resolution No. 022 dated May 22, 2020, published in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 41,889 dated May 28, 2020,
WHEREAS
The National Institute of Aquatic Spaces, as a management entity attached to the Ministry of People’s Power for Transportation, has a technological platform that manages the administrative processes corresponding to the collection of fees for the rendering of services and related activities, as well as the collection of the amounts for the concepts of fees and other income established by law,
WHEREAS
With the entry into force of Resolution No. 052 dated December 29, 2024, it is necessary for the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces to carry out, through the Office of Information and Communication Technology, the adaptation of the technological platform to the changes established in the new tariff regime of the services and activities related to the aquatic sector provided by this Institute, in order to guarantee a public service of quality and efficiency, providing legal certainty to the administration and the administered users of the system.
REPORTS:
- The adaptation of the technological platform of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces began in application of the new tariff regime provided for in Resolution No. 052 dated December 29, 2024, published in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 43,068 dated February 13, 2025, which will have an execution period of fifteen (15) continuous days.
- The interested natural and juridical persons and the general public are hereby notified that the payments related to the activities and related services of the Ship-Port Interface, whose tariff was modified by means of the above-mentioned Resolution, will be settled manually.
- Each Port Captaincy of the corresponding district and competent official of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces shall ensure strict compliance with this instruction, and shall provide the necessary collaboration and coordination for the effective application of all those administrative and operational steps that may be required.
The contents of this Circular should be notified and disseminated by all available means.
