Circular N° 010 año 2018, Reintegro o reembolso a usuarios por depósitos o transferencias por concepto de pago de las tarifas sobre servicios y actividades conexas al sector acuático

Instruction: General Managers, Line Managers, Office Heads, and Port Captains are hereby instructed that, as of this date, no refunds and/or reimbursements shall be granted to users for excess deposits or transfers made for the payment of fees on services and activities related to the aquatic sector provided by the Aquatic Authority in accordance with the law, nor to third parties for deposits or transfers made into the Institute’s accounts due to clerical error, whether these have been paid or transferred into the Institute’s accounts.
Claims Mechanism – Credit Balance Claims shall operate by means of a Credit Balance granted to the user and/or holder who made the payment, or in favor of a third party who must be identified in the corresponding application. This balance may be used to make full or partial payment for a procedure in the same currency and as a single-use option—meaning it cannot be deducted across multiple procedures.
- Validity: Ninety (90) days, counted from the date of the transaction (deposit and/or transfer).
- Fiscal Restriction: It shall not be transferable to another economic-financial fiscal year; that is to say, the Credit Balance will only be valid within the same fiscal year in which the payment was made.
This instruction must be disseminated to all associated personnel and posted on the information boards of the service-generating Coordinations at Head Office, as well as at Port Captaincies and their delegations, in order to notify users of this instruction.
