(Special Notice – 007 COVID-19)
In the exercise of the powers conferred by Article 78, numeral 1 of the Decree with Status, Value, and Force of the Organic Law of Aquatic Spaces, in conjunction with Articles 73, numerals 1 and 2, and 74, numerals 3 and 16 ejusdem, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 17 of the Organic Law of Administrative Procedures.
CONSIDERING
That the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, has declared a permanent emergency in the national health system, for the purposes of strengthening prevention measures and avoiding the spread of the Coronavirus COVID 19 virus, in view of its arrival in our country,
CONSIDERING
Whereas, in accordance with the new instructions issued this past March 16, 2020, by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, establishing a Collective Social Quarantine throughout the national territory to prevent the spread and transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

DECIDES
The embarkation and disembarkation of vessel crews at the country’s ports are suspended until further notice.
The Maritime Authority, through the Institute’s General Management of Operations, shall ensure strict compliance with this Circular.
