    CIRCULAR NO. 073 Urging Port Administrations to comply with the twenty (20) Port Indicators ANNEXED

    CIRCULAR No 073
    Port Administrators of Port Facilities domiciled in the territory of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela that carry out port operations in the sea, rivers, riverbanks, and other areas are hereby informed that within the framework of the eighth meeting of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) held in September 2013, it was agreed that member countries must adopt the twenty (20) Port Indicators used by Mexico; with the aim of standardizing the procedures for collecting port statistics and indicators at a national level.
    In order to guarantee the safety of port operations with efficiency and effectiveness, the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) informs all Port Administrators that, as of this date, they must utilize the port indicators used by Mexico and submit them monthly to the General Management of Ports and Integral Security.
    The port indicators of Mexico are annexed.
