COMMUNIQUÉ: STATISTICS REPORT

The National Institute of Aquatic Spaces informs companies in the aquatic sector: Shipping Agencies, Freight Forwarders, Cargo Consolidators, Multimodal Transport, Shipping Companies, Ship Brokerage, Maritime Service Companies, and Underwater Activities in any of their categories or activities, that the renewal process begins within 90 days prior to the expiration of their operating authorization; if once the validity of the authorization has ended the company has not started the renewal process or has not compliantly completed the submission of the requested documents, it will be subject to the corresponding administrative process (Fine for untimely renewal). If there is no intention to renew the operating authorization, the company is obliged to declare the cessation of operations through an official letter before the expiration of the operating authorization to the aquatic authority via the following email addresses: transporteacuatico@inea.gob.ve and estadistica@inea.gob.ve in order to avoid administrative sanctions. Shipping Agencies and Ship-to-Ship Transshipment Service Providers that possess five (05) year permits must perform an annual update request, and for the renewal of the operating authorization, they have 90 days before its expiration to start the corresponding process.
