| Entry Profile: Law of Marinas and Related Activities (LMAC) Chapter II On the requirements to opt for Titles and License. | Article 262. Applicants for the title of Coastal Captain must hold the title of Skipper, and verify having navigated with said title for at least a period of thirty-six (36) months. Applicants for the Title of Coastal Captain must hold the title of Mid-Level Technician from the diversified and professional secondary level and its equivalent and the title of Skipper and verify having navigated with said title for at least a period of thirty-six (36) months. |

| • International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code): A publication of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) that compiles all current regulations governing the maritime transport of dangerous goods. The IMDG Code was established to protect crews and prevent marine pollution through the safe transport of hazardous materials. It establishes, among other things, the different classes into which dangerous goods are grouped, their packaging, labeling, packing, and stowage on ships (segregation), while also providing a supplement with guidance for emergency and accident management. | ||
