- Identity Card.
- High-resolution, sharp photograph with a red background, formal attire (shoulders and face visible, updated within the last six months, neutral facial expression, no patterns or designs in beards for men, no low-cut necklines for women, and no photo montages). It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section.
- In the event of a copy due to loss, theft, or robbery, if the user does not have a record of the document in the SINEA, they must scan a PDF copy of the Certificate of Proficiency for Able Seafarer Engine with a manual signature if they possess it; otherwise, a report filed with the competent judicial authority must be uploaded. In the case of a copy due to damage or deterioration, the affected Certificate or an explanatory letter of the events must be scanned and submitted.
- Certificate of Proficiency for Able Seafarer Engine. It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the CERTIFICATES tab.
- Payment for the issuance of the document must be made to the Banesco Current Account in the name of INEA, 0134-1099-2200-0100-0780, RIF G-20002141-1, according to the amounts indicated in the SEAFARER PROCEDURES PAYMENT TABLE as per Article 59, Item 12 (located next to TYPE OF REQUEST). This Table will be updated at the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment made must correspond with the date of the request and is valid for three months once performed.”
- The INEA payment settlement form will be uploaded to each user’s “SEAFARER FILE,” under the “REMARKS” tab, by the Seafarer Management personnel once the payment has been confirmed.
Note: Requests before the INEA shall be made without the need to present folders or compact discs. All documents must be valid, legible, digitized in PDF format, and attached in the SINEA.
