Within the framework of a Maritime Documentation Day to be carried out by the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) in Aragua State next month, personnel from the Port Captaincy of Puerto Cabello performed free naval inspections along the coastal axis of Choroní, Chuao, Cepe, and Tuja.

Over two days, a total of 212 men and women of the sea belonging to the Councils of Fishermen, Fisherwomen, and Aquaculturists (CONPPA) Renacer de Choroní, Unidos de Chuao, and Furia Pesquera de Chuao, benefited from the evaluations conducted by INEA experts.

The evaluation covered matters regarding hull structure, propulsion systems, navigation and safety equipment, cargo quantity and condition, among others.

All of this to verify that maritime safety conditions are met, compliance with standards and specifications, and to evaluate the general condition of the vessel, so that navigation license renewals are issued within the legal framework.
