INEA evaluates the SISEINOP of port administrators in Zulia and Bolívar
24-02-2025
The National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), based in the states of Zulia and Bolívar, conducted a physical and documentary evaluation of the Comprehensive Safety Management System for Port Operations (SISEINOP) of the company PILOT SERVICES DE VENEZUELA and the FAPCO-PALUA loading and unloading terminal.
During this action, the Port Captaincies of Maracaibo and Ciudad Guayana evaluated the environmental management, safety, and occupational health plans; fire and emergency control plans; ship and port facility security plans; documentation; compliance with contractual clauses; pier conditions; and port operations.
These inspections are part of an annual work plan executed by INEA through its Port Captaincies, in order to renew the comprehensive safety management certification, comply with Venezuelan and international legal requirements, and improve the safety of port operations.
In this way, the Great Transport Mission Venezuela and INEA advance actions that contribute to maximizing the potential of port-type infrastructures, promoting efficient operational safety management and preventing pollution.
