Marine Firefighters completed lifeguard training in Puerto Cabello

MPPT – INEA Press (08/16/2024).- As part of the actions implemented by the Bolivarian Government to promote safe school vacations, the Marine Firefighters of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), assigned to the Port Captaincy of Puerto Cabello, completed the Lifeguard training and certification in Ocumare de la Costa, Aragua state.
The program, which lasted 3 consecutive days, was held at La Punta beach (Ocumare de la Costa) under a theoretical-practical modality (8 hours), and addressed topics associated with: beach regulations and operations, first aid, and aquatic rescue protocol methods.
The goal of the Great Venezuela Transport Mission and INEA is to guarantee the safety of individuals and support prevention and timely response efforts in any emergency, as ordered by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, for the benefit of the Venezuelan people.
