OBJECTIVE
To direct, coordinate, and control the creation and operation of public or private nautical education institutions at the national level, the documentation required by Merchant Marine personnel, as well as the coordination, supervision, and control of the Maritime Medicine service, Seafarers, and Related Activities, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations and the policies and guidelines issued by the Executive Level of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces.
