NAVAL INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST CREDENTIAL (ORIGINAL)
- Identity Card.
- Updated resume, including a Certificate proving continuous work in the aquatic sector during the last five (5) years.
- Photograph with good resolution and clarity, blue or red background depending on the specialty, Uniform No. 2 (stripes visible according to hierarchical rank) or blue background, formal attire (both shoulders and face visible, updated within the last six months, neutral facial expression, without glasses, without patterns in the beard for men, without plunging necklines for women, and no photomontages). It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section.
- Credential (both sides) or Master Mariner or Chief Engineer License. It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the TITLES tab (Optional).
- Naval Inspections Specialist Degree.
- Certified transcripts of the Naval Inspections Specialist course.
- Certificate of sea service / sailed time (Optional).
- Seafarer’s Discharge Book (all pages used) (Optional).
Maritime Medical Certificate (physical and mental fitness with vision and hearing specification), in the Maritime Medicine format found on the INEA website (must be performed by a Physician authorized by the INEA or an Internist Physician from the Public Network). Applicants over 40 years of age must present a cardiovascular evaluation report and an electrocardiogram (must be performed by a Cardiologist, Internist, Intensivist, or Emergency Physician).- Payment for document issuance fees, to the Banesco Checking Account, under the name of INEA, 0134-1099-2200-0100-0780, RIF G-20002141-1, according to the amounts indicated in the SEAFARER TRANSACTION PAYMENT TABLE pursuant to Article 61, Item 17 (located next to APPLICATION TYPE). This Table will be updated at the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment made must correspond with the date of the application and is valid for three months once it is processed.”
- The INEA payment settlement form will be uploaded to each user’s “SEAFARER FILE”, under the “REMARKS” tab, by the Seafarer Management personnel once the payment has been confirmed.
Note: Requests before the INEA shall be made without the need to present folders or compact discs. All documents must be valid, legible, digitized in PDF format, and attached in the SINEA.
