INEA Marine Firefighters guarantee the supply of drinking water and pre-hospital medical care to communities in Cumanacoa

INEA Press (07.04.2024) By instructions of the Constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the Minister of People’s Power for Transport MG Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, the Marine Firefighters corps of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces joined the actions of the citizen security agencies, to provide pre-hospital medical care and drinking water supply by tanker truck to the inhabitants of Cumanacoa, Sucre.

In this regard, the Marine Firefighters carry out permanent land patrols in the hamlets affected by the rise of the Manzanares River, caused by the passage of Hurricane Beryl through the northern part of the Venezuelan Caribbean.

Meanwhile, the Great Venezuela Transport Mission and INEA continue the collection of household goods, non-perishable food, clothing, drinking water, personal hygiene products, and other supplies at the Puerto Sucre Harbor Master’s Office, a headquarters that was designated as a collection center this Tuesday.

What is being collected is being destined to meet the needs of the most affected communities: Barrio Blanco, La Fragua, Las Tinajitas, Antonio José de Sucre Avenue, Las Morritas, Las Trincheras, El Palanque, and Los Cedros.

In this way, the Bolivarian Government ratifies its commitment to the people, addressing directly, quickly, and opportunely the contingencies resulting from the rains.
