Requirements for Public Universities and University Institutes (Registration and Authorization)

1. Application and Proof of Registration, Authorization, Incorporation of new subjects or courses, and/or Renewal of the Institution’s Operating Authorization.
2. Copy of the applicant’s Identity Card; if the applicant is a naturalized citizen, a copy of the Official Gazette containing the Naturalization Act.
3. Copy of the Institution’s Unique Fiscal Information Registry (RIF).
4. Copy of the Official Gazette in which the creation of the Institution is decreed.
5. Organizational structure chart of the Institution.
6. Copy of the Declarative Personal Accident Policy or Medical Care Service.
7. Copy of the fire prevention compliance certificate issued by the Fire Department.
8. The syllabi, curricula, and schedules of the nautical subjects or courses to be taught, along with their respective instructor and participant manuals.
9. Inventory and description of resources, printed and non-printed didactic materials for learning in nautical education.
10. List of management staff, teaching staff, and instructors, with their current curriculum vitae and the corresponding attached supporting documents.
11. Copies of IMO Instructor certificates.
12. Copy of the authorization certificate for the use of facilities required for practical training corresponding to the programs that demand it.
13. Internal Regulations of the Institution (Coexistence Rules).
14. Implemented Quality Management System (Manual of Policies and Procedures of the Institution).
15. Onboard internship plan.
