RENEWAL OF MARITIME PILOT CERTIFICATE
HARBOR PILOT CERTIFICATE (RENEWAL)
| 1. | Identity Card. |
| 2. | High-resolution and sharp photograph, blue background, wearing Uniform No. 2 (epaulettes visible according to hierarchical rank, both shoulders and face visible, updated no more than six months ago, neutral facial expression, no glasses, no groomed designs in the beard for men, and no low-cut necklines for women, no photomontages). It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section. |
| 3. | Expired document (Harbor Pilot Certificate). It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the CERTIFICATES tab. |
| 4. | Merchant Marine License Credential: Master Mariner with two (2) years since qualification, or Chief Officer (Navigation) with five (5) years since qualification (both sides), or Titles. It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the TITLES tab. |
| 5. | Certificate of English Language Proficiency. |
| 6. | Harbor Pilot Course Certificate. |
| 7. | Valid Certificate of Performance of Duties as a Harbor Pilot issued by the Port Authority. |
| 8. | Maritime Medical Certificate (physical and mental fitness with vision and hearing specifications), in the Maritime Medicine format available on the INEA website (must be performed by an INEA-authorized physician or an Internist from the Public Network). Applicants over 40 years of age must present a cardiovascular evaluation report and electrocardiogram (must be performed by a Cardiologist, Internist, Intensivist, or Emergency Physician). |
