    RENEWAL OF THE ENDORSEMENT OF COASTAL CAPTAIN’S CERTIFICATE

    ENDORSEMENT OF COASTAL CAPTAIN’S CERTIFICATE RENEWAL)

    1. Identity Card.
    2. Passport (Optional).
    3. Updated, high-resolution, and sharp photograph, blue background, Uniform No. 2 without kepi (epaulettes with three 9-millimeter stripes) or formal suit (both shoulders and face visible, no glasses, neutral facial expression, no styled or shaped beard patterns for men, no low-cut necklines for women, and no photomontages). This must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section.
    4. Expired document (Endorsement of Coastal Captain’s Certificate, both sides). It must be attached in the SEAFARER’S FILE (EXPEDIENTE DE MARINO) section, under the CERTIFICATES (CERTIFICADOS) tab.
    5. Certificate Credential (both sides) or Coastal Captain’s Certificate. It must be attached in the SEAFARER’S FILE (EXPEDIENTE DE MARINO) section, under the TITLES (TÍTULOS) tab.
    6. IMO Courses (required and additional, both sides, including registration and folio numbers). The validity of the requested document depends on the date of these courses. They must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the COURSES tab.
    7. Seafarer’s Identity Document (all used pages).
    8. Maritime Medical Certificate (physical and mental fitness with vision and hearing specifications), in the Maritime Medicine format available on the INEA website (must be performed by an INEA-authorized physician or an Internist from the Public Network). Applicants over 40 years of age must present a cardiovascular evaluation report and electrocardiogram (must be performed by a Cardiologist, Internist, Intensivist, or Emergency Physician).
    9. Payment for the issuance of the document, to the Banesco Bank checking account, in the name of INEA, 0134-1099-2200-0100-0780, RIF G-20002141-1, in accordance with the amounts indicated in the SEAFARER’S PROCEDURES PAYMENT TABLE as per Article 59, Item 12 (located next to the APPLICATION TYPE). This table will be updated to the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment made must correspond with the date of the application and shall be valid for three months once it is carried out.”

    10. The INEA payment liquidation form will be uploaded to each user’s “SEAFARER’S FILE,” in the “OBSERVATIONS” tab by the Seafarers’ Management personnel once their payment has been confirmed.
