RENEWAL OF THE INDUSTRIAL DIVING INSTRUCTOR CREDENTIAL
INDUSTRIAL DIVING INSTRUCTOR CREDENTIAL (RENEWAL)
- Identity Card.
- Updated Resume (in Spanish) with Diving Logbook (Hours and/or Activities), demonstrating 100 days of deck operations specifying the use of surface-supplied equipment within the last year, 150 cumulative diving hours within the last year, and 30 days as an endorsed Supervisor (subsequent to the latest certification issued by INEA).
- Photograph with good resolution and clarity, blue background, formal attire (both shoulders and face visible, updated no more than six months ago, neutral facial expression, without glasses, no beard styling or patterns for men, no low-cut necklines for women, and no photomontages). It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section.
- Expired document (Industrial Diving Instructor Credential, both sides). It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the CERTIFICATES tab.
- First Aid Instructor Course (current/valid). These must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE (EXPEDIENTE DE MARINO) section, under the COURSES (CURSOS) tab.
- Module C Course (Supervisory level) (current/valid). These must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE (EXPEDIENTE DE MARINO) section, under the COURSES (CURSOS) tab.
- Valid Commercial Diving Course Certificate. These must be attached in the MARINER’S RECORD (EXPEDIENTE DE MARINO) section, under the COURSES (CURSOS) tab.
- The IMO Courses (required and additional, both sides, including registration and folio numbers). The validity of the requested document depends on the date of these courses. They must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the COURSES tab.
- Employment reference(s) indicating the specific diving position held.
Maritime Medical Certificate (physical and mental fitness with vision and hearing specification), in the Maritime Medicine format found on the INEA website (must be performed by a Physician authorized by the INEA or an Internist Physician from the Public Network). Applicants over 40 years of age must present a cardiovascular evaluation report and an electrocardiogram (must be performed by a Cardiologist, Internist, Intensivist, or Emergency Physician).- Payment for the document issuance fee, made to the Current Account of Banco Banesco, under the name of INEA, 0134-1099-2200-0100-0780, RIF G-20002141-1, in accordance with the amounts specified in the SEAFARER TRANSACTION FEES TABLE pursuant to Article 61, Item 18 (located next to APPLICATION TYPE). This table is updated according to the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment made must match the application date and remains valid for three months once processed”.
- The INEA payment settlement form will be uploaded to each user’s “SEAFARER FILE”, under the “REMARKS” tab, by the Seafarer Management personnel once the payment has been confirmed.
