This Saturday the traditional ecotourism celebration of San Fernando de Apure took place, called “Gran Abordaje con Pasión al Río Apure”, which featured the strict supervision of the Marine Firefighters, Maritime Police and administrative personnel of the Apure Port Captaincy, as well as the accompaniment of the Minister of People’s Power for Ecosocialism Ricardo Molina, Governor Wilmer Rodríguez and Mayor Ofelia Padrón.

The INEA personnel from very early on installed a land and fluvial control point in the Puente María Nieves sector, from where they controlled the vessel departures and the development of the activity, to guarantee to the maximum the safety of the competitors and the public present.

The activity managed to gather a large number of Apure locals and visitors, who enjoyed the tournament from the top of the bridge and the bank of the Orinoco river.

In this way, the Gran Misión Transporte Venezuela promotes the execution of aquatic sports, while ensuring the well-being and healthy recreation of the Venezuelan people, especially during the Carnavales 2025 break.
