This event is to be held on July 26, 2025, and will feature the participation of 600 athletes from across the country. It will take place at Playa Blanca, Mochima National Park, Sucre State, starting at 8:00 a.m., as specified in the attached communication. Furthermore, I reiterate my feelings of esteem and consideration, remaining at your service in this Office, for a Great, Free, Sovereign, and Socialist Homeland, to continue strengthening the development of the Bolivarian Revolution. Through this document, I, Antonio Saint Aubyn, holder of Identity Card number 12,272,090, in my capacity as President of the Association of Aquatic Sports of the State of Sucre, domiciled at the Francisco “Tiburón” Sánchez Swimming Pool Complex of the Félix “Lalito” Velásquez Sports Center in the city of Cumaná, address you on this occasion to request your support for the upcoming “VI Mochima Open Water 2025” to be held on Saturday, July 26, and the “XVIII National Open Water Championship City of Cumaná” from August 28 to 30, endorsed by the Venezuelan Federation of Aquatic Sports (FEVEDA). These events are estimated to have an approximate participation of the top 600 swimmers in the country.
The activities will take place at Playa Blanca and Playa San Luis, Cumaná, Sucre State, respectively, complying with all safety protocols. The collaboration consists of supporting the following organizational aspects of these major events, which will position our state as a protagonist of sports at the national level:
