ORIGINAL FIRST CLASS RECREATIONAL SKIPPER LICENSE
FIRST CLASS RECREATIONAL SKIPPER LICENSE (ORIGINAL)
| 1. | Identity Card. |
| 2. | Updated photograph with high resolution and sharpness, blue background, formal attire (both shoulders and face visible, no glasses, no facial expressions, no shapes in the beard for men, no low-cut necklines for women, and no photomontages). It must be attached in the SEAFARER’S FILE section. |
| 3. | Second Class Recreational Skipper License (both sides) or a Dispatch indicating that the holder holds at least the rank of Lieutenant Commander within the fleet, submarine, or marine corps specialties (river boat skippers). It must be attached in the SEAFARER FILE section, under the CERTIFICATES tab. |
| 4. | Sea Time Certificate (3 months of sea service or a certificate issued by the Floating Unit where the service was provided, endorsed by its Major Command, with a minimum of 5,000 nautical miles sailed). |
| 5. | Recreational Seafarer’s Identity Document (all pages used) (non-military personnel only). |
| 6. | Maritime Medical Certificate (physical and mental fitness specifying vision and hearing), in the Maritime Medicine format found on the INEA website (must be performed by an INEA-authorized physician or an Internist from the Public Health Network). Applicants over 40 years of age must present a cardiovascular evaluation report and electrocardiogram (must be performed by a Cardiologist, Internist, Intensivist, or Emergency Physician). |
| 7. | Document issuance payment to the Banco de Venezuela checking account, in the name of INEA, 0102-0762-25-0000003188, RIF G-20002141-1, in accordance with the amounts indicated in the SEAFARER PROCEDURE PAYMENT TABLE according to the following Articles: for Original License: Article 61, Item 12; for Online Exam subject retakes (maximum 3): Article 61, Item 15 (located next to TYPE OF REQUEST). This table is updated to the DICOM rate every Monday at noon. “The date of the payment must correspond to the date of the application and remains valid for three months once processed”. |
| 8. | The INEA payment liquidation form will be uploaded to each user’s SEAFARER FILE, under the REMARKS tab, by the Seafarers’ Management personnel once the payment has been confirmed. |
