DESCRIPTION
The Seafarers’ Management Department is an organizational unit that forms part of the substantive level of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces. It is assigned to the General Management of Marine Affairs, to which it reports. Under its responsibility are specialized teams organized to fulfill the functions of planning, direction, execution, coordination, supervision, and control in the areas of Nautical Education, Seafarers’ Certification, and Maritime Medicine.
